Breckenridge Golf Course
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to play golf at 9,300’ above sea level? Well wonder no more! With the lack of air resistance, the ball actually flies farther and straighter. Elevate your golf game against the backdrop of lush green grass, blue skies and snowcapped mountains.
Breckenridge Golf Club
Breckenridge is the only municipality in the world to own 27-holes of Jack Nicklaus designed golf! The Bear, the Beaver, and the Elk are all nines that together make up this challenging championship course. In 1985 is when the Bear nine opened and graced a landscape that the miners referred to as Buffalo Flats. The Beaver followed in 1987 and was so appropriately named after the beaver ponds scattered along the course. The success of the original 18 holes prompted city officials to expand the facility in 2001 adding the Elk nine. Now, it’s one of the most sought after courses to play. Come give it a shot!
