Don’t miss the 35th Annual Breckenridge July Art Festival. This festival is annually ranked as one of the top art shows in the country! Stop by Main Street Station to see the beautiful creations of local and visiting artists.
Sign up to race in the Independence Day 10K Trail Run. The race starts at 7:00 a.m. at Carter Park.
If running isn’t your thing, then check out the Firecracker 50 Mountain Bike Race. This race kicks off the 4th of July parade down Main Street. Be a spectator or a rider – your choice! They will embark on a 50 mile journey beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Not so much of an athlete? How about coffee, mimosas, and a breakfast spread at the Fourth of July Garden Party? This annual party is hosted by the Breckenridge Heritage Alliance at the Barney Ford House Museum. Party starts at 9:00 a.m. and you will have the best view of Main Street for the parade!
The Red, White and Blue Color Guard kicks off the Main Street Parade at 10 a.m. Following the parade there will be a reading of the Declaration of Independence by none other than George Washington himself.
