A Romantic Evening in Breckenridge

The snow is falling, the night is coming and the trees are lighting up. Breckenridge is an amazing host for a romantic evening with your honey. The town is already so quaint; it makes a night out even more special. After a day of heavy adventuring, we have an evening planned.

Head downtown a little before your dinner reservations at Relish. (make reservations at Relish) If you would like a nice cocktail and dinner prep, go to Modis before hand. They have a great atmosphere and amazing drinks. I highly recommend the barrel aged 1 as a dinner preparation. It is a nice whiskey drink that won’t make a profound impact on your pallet. The atmosphere is beautiful and the bar is perfect for two.

Head over to Relish after drinks. The wait staff there does an amazing job of setting the mood for you and your special somebody. I recommend you follow your server’s direction on wine recommendations. But if you’re like me your wine choice is based on under $10 scores, they can help you stray from this. The entire menu here is awesome, I am a Texas girl, so I go for the steak, but I have been wanting to try the venison.

After dinner, you two lovebirds will be full and maybe a little love drunk, full, and debatably tipsy! Take a stroll along the river. Head South from relish, not on Main Street but along the river. Walk down to The Dredge and stroll around the pond. If you get chilly, stop in The Crown for a cup of coffee or hot chocolate. Breckenridge is beautiful at nighttime, the trees light up and it is so cozy.  If you guys are looking to get crazy, stop in at Ember for another cocktail. They have a great wine selection and awesome cocktails.

When you’re ready to call it a night take a cab or walk back to your condo. Light a fire and watch the snowfall.
